Asana consulting for small businesses in Wilmington, NC

Asana Certified Pro · Asana Ambassador · Based in Wilmington, NC

If you need someone to set up or fix Asana for a small business in Wilmington, NC, that is what I do. I am Erin Cronin, an Asana Certified Pro and Asana Ambassador based in Wilmington, and I build Asana so a team actually uses it.

What I build in Asana

  • A workspace laid out around how your business actually runs: teams, projects and portfolios that match the work, not a default template.
  • Project templates that fill themselves in. Due dates, assignees, links and action items land the moment a project starts.
  • Intake forms that turn a request into a fully scoped project, so nobody retypes anything from an email.
  • Rules that route work to the right person by stage, so a handoff does not depend on someone remembering.
  • Asana connected to the rest of your stack: HubSpot, Google Workspace, Slack, Stripe, Zapier, whatever you already pay for.
  • Training for your team, recorded, plus written documentation so the setup survives the next new hire.

Not everything here is a big build. Some of it is one time and done, some is worth me sticking around for, and plenty of it is an afternoon of work. I'll tell you which one you actually need.

Why most Asana setups stop getting used

Most Asana problems are not Asana problems. The tool is fine. It was set up as a shared to-do list, so updating it became one more chore, and people quietly went back to Slack threads and sticky notes.

An Asana setup works when the project builds itself, the task lands on the right person automatically, and updating it is faster than not updating it. That is the whole job. I have built 30+ Asana project templates and hundreds of automated workflows, and the ones that stick all share that shape.

Local, and in person if you want it

I work with clients anywhere in the US online. If your business is in New Hanover, Brunswick or Pender County, I can also come to you and do it on site, at your desk, on your screen.

Plenty of people would rather have someone sit next to them for the first walkthrough than watch a screen share, and I get it. Same work either way, same price either way.

What it costs

Every price is on the pricing page, and none of them needs a call to see. A one-hour working session is $197. A full Operations Audit, where I go through your business the way a customer and a team member would and hand you a prioritized fix list, is $597.

Ongoing work runs on a flat monthly retainer with no timesheet: the Systems Retainer is $1,500 a month and the Partner Retainer is $2,500 a month. A bigger Asana build, like moving a whole operation in, is scoped and priced in writing before anything starts.

How it starts

Text, email or book twenty minutes, whichever you prefer. Tell me what is broken or what you are trying to get out of Asana. If it is an afternoon of work, I will say so. If something other than Asana fits you better, I will say that too and point you at it.

Something I built

A 50-step onboarding that used to live in Slack and wishful thinking.

Different sales reps had different teams, so every handoff was improvised. I built one Asana workflow that runs the same way every time, with due dates, action items, links and assignees filling in based on who owns the lead.

Quick answers

Straight answers about Asana

Who does Asana consulting in Wilmington, NC?

I do. I am Erin Cronin of The Coastal Collaborative, an Asana Certified Pro and Asana Ambassador based in Wilmington. I set up, fix and automate Asana for small businesses, remotely anywhere in the US and in person in New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender counties.

How much does an Asana consultant cost?

With me, a one-hour working session is $197 and an Operations Audit is $597. Ongoing help is a flat retainer, $1,500 or $2,500 a month. A larger build is quoted in writing before it starts. Every number is on the pricing page.

Can you come to my office?

Yes, if you are in New Hanover, Brunswick or Pender County. Everywhere else I work online, by screen share.

We already pay for Asana and nobody uses it. Can that be fixed?

Usually, yes, and it is the most common version of this call. Adoption fails when Asana is a place people have to remember to update. It works when the project builds itself and the task lands on the right person automatically.

How long does an Asana setup take?

It depends on how much of the business is moving in. One workflow with templates and rules is often live inside a couple of weeks. Moving a whole operation in takes longer, and the timeline is written into the scope before anything starts, so you know it up front.

Do I need Asana, or would something else be better?

Sometimes something else is better. If your work is genuinely simple, Asana is more tool than you need, and I will tell you that rather than build you something you will not use.

Ready when you are

Want it handled?

Twenty minutes, no pitch. If someone else is a better fit, I'll tell you and point you to them.
