Stop Re-Explaining Your Business to AI Every Single Morning

July 27, 2026

It is 8am. You open a new chat with your AI, coffee in hand, ready to knock out 1 quick email. And before it can help you with anything, you start typing the same thing you typed yesterday.

Who you are. What your business does. Who your clients are. The way you like things worded so it does not sound like a robot in a blazer.

By the time it knows enough to be useful, you have spent 10 minutes catching it up on a business it has "met" 40 times already. Then tomorrow, you open a new chat and do the whole thing again.

Re-explaining yourself is not the cost of using AI. It is a setup you skipped.

Here is what is actually happening. Every new chat starts from zero. The AI does not remember Tuesday. It does not remember the 12 times you told it your client is a busy solo attorney, not a tech startup, so please stop suggesting emojis and Slack. Each blank box is a stranger who is very smart and knows nothing about you.

So you keep paying the same tax. 10 minutes of context, every single time, forever. That is close to 50 minutes a week spent retyping the same paragraph, and you do not even notice you are doing it, because it feels like "just using the tool."

You do not have to. You can tell it the permanent stuff 1 time and have it remember, so every new chat starts with the AI already knowing your business cold.

What it needs to know once (and then never again).

Sit down for 15 minutes and write down the stuff you retype constantly. Not the task. The background the task always needs.

Who you are and what you do, in 2 sentences. Who your clients are and who they are not. Your voice (formal or casual, emoji or no emoji, short or thorough). The 3 tools you actually use. The things you never want it to suggest.

That is your context block. It is boring and it is yours and it is the exact thing you have been improvising at 8am for months.

Write it in a plain document first. You are going to paste it somewhere permanent in a second, and you want to keep the master copy so you can tweak it as your business changes.

Where the "remember this" button actually lives.

Every major AI tool has a spot for this now. The names are different, the idea is identical: a place to store your background so it loads into every chat automatically.

In ChatGPT, it is custom instructions and saved memory. In Claude (what I use), it is Projects, where you drop your context in once and every chat inside that project already knows it. Gemini, Notion, most of them have a version of the same thing.

You paste your context block in one time. From then on, you open a new chat and skip straight to the actual ask. No preamble. No "let me catch you up." It already knows.

If you run a few different lanes (client work, your own marketing, the personal stuff), make a separate project for each, with its own context. Now "help me write this" means something specific instead of starting from a blank stranger every time.

Start here, this week.

Do not set up all of it. Set up 1.

Pick the thing you ask AI to help with most. Writing client emails, probably, or drafting posts. Open a plain doc and spend 10 minutes writing the background that request always needs, the stuff you are tired of retyping.

Then find the saved-context spot in whatever tool you already use, paste it in, and open a fresh chat to test it. Ask for the thing with zero setup. Watch it answer like it already knows you.

That is the whole move. 10 minutes today buys back the 10 minutes you were spending every single morning. And it compounds, because now the AI gets better at sounding like you instead of resetting to generic every morning.

And if you want it set up right the first time.

The AI Power Hour is 60 minutes where we build your actual context, in your actual tools, around your actual business, so AI stops treating you like a stranger and starts working like someone who has been on your team for a year.

$197. That is less than the value of the hours you get back in the first 2 weeks alone.
